[HOTDOG] Window manager in the style of Hot Dog Stand Windows 3.1
Main Post: [HOTDOG] Window manager in the style of Hot Dog Stand Windows 3.1
Top Comment: Hot Dog Stand represents the absolute peak in graphic design for Microsoft, for obvious reasons. Hopefully, this will leave you speechless, and possibly visionless. It is a lightweight and minimal X11 window manager written in Objective-C called HOT DOG Linux. The source code is available at https://github.com/arthurchoung/HOTDOG It probably won't become your daily driver, but I do use it. It also supports alternate and/or inferior visual styles including Amiga Workbench, Mac Classic/Color/Platinum, and Atari ST GEM.

You can't make permanent changes of that kind without permission, and a landlord could require you to restore the original state when moving out. It's definitely not something you can just do.

ClassikStyles customizable Window Decoration + Application Style v2.6 released
Main Post:
https://github.com/paulmcauley/classikstyles
Updates for version 2.6:
Fix scrollbar animation glitch
Use shared pointers instead of raw pointers for clipping window geometry
Updates from Breeze master with all Plasma 5.22 features and preview of Plasma 5.23 features:
New QWindow-based Effects API now requires KDE Frameworks >= 5.82
Focus indicator for tabs is no longer duplicated
Fix resize splitter cursor glitch
Blue Ocean application style preview for Plasma 5.23
ClassikStyles also works very well and consistently with the new "Adaptive Opacity" feature added in Plasma 5.22; you need to have transparency enabled and the "Opaque Maximized windows" option ticked under the Transparency tab to see what I mean. See the following video, which also has "Use titlebar colour for all window borders" option ticked:
Note: if you were previously using this on a Debian-based distro you will have to add a new repository to get the newest version.

Which Window Style & Material Keeps Air Out Best?
Main Post:
Hi Everyone,
So currently I have Double-Hung windows in my Condo.
The issue is they let in so much air from the sides that they are basically useless. I think they are vinyl, standard Climateguard windows, nothing fancy.
I want windows that have the BEST seal, to keep 100% of the air out and 100% of the heat/ac inside.
Which national brand should I look into and what type of material would be best?
Thanks!
Top Comment: I'm not that familiar with window brands or which types are best for keeping air out, but I can tell you you'll never find a 100% efficient window for heat and AC. No matter how efficient window companies claim they can be, it's still a hole in your wall with nothing but glass and in some cases noble gas. So you may want to pull your expectations back a little bit. I heard from an inspector recently that window companies actually came up with their own insulation scale because no matter how "efficient" they make them they still aren't good enough to show up on the R-value scale.
